The court heard the intitial investigation by Northumbria Police integrity unit exposed a lucrative vice trade under the guise of Notorius Girls Escourt Services spanning the north of England and the borders in Scotland.
Prosecuter Caroline Goodwin told the court: "The whole of this operation arose out of an investigation conducted by Northumbria police into the activities of Victoria Thorne and Neil Lock. Her profile on the Notorious Girls website said she was "very eager to please" but refused to wear a uniform or entertain clients from Sunderland.
